One important thing to know: driving on a flat tire — even for just a short distance — can seriously damage your wheel rim. The tire sidewall is not designed to support the vehicle's weight, and once it collapses, the metal rim contacts the road directly. That can turn a simple $15 tire plug into a much more expensive rim repair or replacement. It's always better to stop, call us, and let us change the tire right where you are. The cost of a roadside tire change is far less than the cost of a ruined rim.

Once we arrive, the actual tire swap typically takes 10 to 15 minutes. The main variable is how long it takes us to reach your location, which depends on where you are in Kanawha County and current traffic conditions.
A donut (compact spare) is designed for temporary use only — typically no more than 50 miles and at reduced speeds. Once we get your spare on, head straight to a tire shop for a proper replacement. Don't drive on the highway or at full speed on a donut.
